Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Megabyte Island ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Megabyte Island is a GenAI-as-a-Service platform that provisions AI agents on Gradient AI infrastructure on your behalf. We act as an intermediary between you and the platform's services.

3. Account Registration

You must register an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Access to AI agents requires an active paid subscription, billed monthly via Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Pricing is as displayed on the Pricing page at the time of subscription.

5. Refund Policy

We offer a pro-rated refund within 48 hours of subscription if agent provisioning failed due to a platform error. Refunds are not provided for change-of-mind cancellations or user configuration errors.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to: generate illegal content, violate third-party intellectual property rights, send spam, or circumvent rate limits. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate this policy.

7. API Keys and Security

Your scoped API keys are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. You are responsible for how you use and store the keys once revealed from your dashboard. Do not share keys publicly or commit them to version control.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Megabyte Island is not liable for: platform outages, data loss, consequential or indirect damages arising from use of the Service, or third-party AI model outputs.

9. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will attempt to notify registered users of material changes via email.
